MARCO ARIENTI

Born in Orbetello, Italy in 1972 I grew up with a close affinity to the art of photography, I am continuing with a family tradition which was started by my grandfather, Studio Massimo in 1945 then later continued by my father Luciano, now currently by me Marco Arienti..

With Marco Arienti Studio I devoted myself mainly to portrait photography, interpreting the genre with essential outlined and creative lighting, emphasising the expressiveness of my subjects.

My work has been featured on major national media companies such as: Rai, Stil'è Il Sole 24 Ore, Huffington Post, RCS Media Group and Poligrafici Editoriale newspapers and magazines. I have also exhibited my work on several occasions, both in Italy and abroad.

Since 2013 I have been the artistic director for the ImagO Photo Festival, this role brought me into contact with numerous historical and modern photographers both in Italy and Internationally.

THE STUDIO: SPAZIO 130

Marco Arienti Studio is managed by myself and my wife Stefania Vannucchi, over the years we have mainly focused our efforts on studio photography, for individuals and companies, taking care to meet all their requirements from the photo shoot to the final delivery of the images.

Spazio 130 is where we host our studio, it’s located in Orbetello (GR) on the southern tip of the Tuscany in Italy. It also hosts meetings, seminars and workshops throughout the year.

We share Spazio 130 with Arianna Guerreri, fashion designer and owner of Laristudio Style Office & Fashion Consulting, and with Stefano Cardoselli, artist, illustrator and scriptwriter.

IMAGO

The ImagO Cultural Association has been active for several years in the Maremma region of Tuscany, with several initiatives, including the organization of the ImagO Photo Festival, created in 2013.

We founded the association with other creative and experienced professionals, working together with the same aim to bring the work of great photographers to the general public through courses, meetings, workshops, exhibitions and a photography contest, which every year participants enter from all over the world.

ImagO attracts interest from enthusiastic amateurs and professionals alike from Italy and many visiting tourists. The festival has grown over the years thanks to the interest from the public and national media coverage such as Rai, Tg5, Sky, L’Espresso, Huffington Post, Corriere.it. The Association is proud of its collaborations with photographic agencies, for example, Sudest57, Parallelo Zero and Photo Op; art galleries Honos Art and Galleria Ceribelli, the large-format magazine Image Mag and the Sky Arte channel. The festival is sponsored by the Municipality of Orbetello and is approved by the ODG italian journalists association as promoter of accredited training courses.
