L’atmosfera è tipicamente noir: il buio, il fumo, gli occhi chiusi. Elisa sembra appoggiarsi al bordo dell'immagine, quasi che il fotogramma abbia un peso fisico e i dettagli - la sigaretta, il braccio alzato, l’inquadratura decentrata - sono aggiunti uno alla volta, quasi per tentativi.
The atmosphere is typically noir: darkness, smoke, closed eyes. Elisa seems to lean against the edge of the image, as if the frame had a physical weight, and the details — the cigarette, the raised arm, the off-centre framing — were added one at a time, almost by trial and error.
